not sure if ill check this. Let's Go was 44 minutes and that felt pretty long for a record like this, even if it was good. adding 6 more minutes isnt usually a lot but a 50 minute Rancid album sounds like a chore. and this sounds like its in the same style as their last two anyways.

By far and away the best thing Rancid ever recorded.
Non-stop party, goes full blast.. give it a try!
Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty straight forward record (ya know what you're gettin' when you hear one song) as are all Rancid records; this one just happens to have the best songwriting and staying power while cranking the dial to maximum fun.. you'll be humming these tunes in no time or be annoyed to death by them ha ha
Roots Radicals, Time Bomb, Ruby Soho .. I'm sure you've heard some of these. Oh, I forgot to mention the bass/rhythm section excellent.

yeah its just the runtime that i have a problem with. ill get to it eventually im sure.

Yep, It's a little on the long side plus it does have that Rancid sound no pun intended. I'd start with a few singles and see how ya feel about it. I could listen to a few tunes off here and be satisfied enough, but the whole LP is good if you're in the mood.

the bass is absolutely ridiculous agreed Jeff, I mean Maxwell Murder alone
also, I don't think it's fair to write them all of as formulaic, Life Won't Wait was genuinely creative and you never really knew what was coming next, that record's nearly as good as this one

Life Won't Wait is a great example..For some reason I always forget that one, one of their best for sure. I was stuck thinking about their first few records my apologies! I've always thought of this LP as a much better version, but akin to Lets Go for lack of a better word. I'm a bit rusty on the Racid catalog but they've always had their 'sound' so to speak. Y'know now that you mention it I would agree Life Won't Wait being the most diverse of the bunch.
I think that's the one that took me longer to get into more ska and some reggae vibes going on. The clash influence was really shining, it was cool, different too. When it came out I was expecting the usual vibe, but you're right it was unique. Hoover street!

Its not for everyone clay.
To be fair you have to have a very high IQ to appreciate a Rancid record.
