Can't believe they've broken up. I'm completely heartbroken. They were my favourite band for over 10 years and just like that they decide to call it quits. At least they leave us with a legendary legacy.

My Own Prison is a great album, those who disagree are just jumping on a popular bandwagon, FACT. This album, however is abysmal. Nice one Stapp.

this album didn't really have much of a chance. tremonti wasn't going to waste any quality material he had for alterbridge or his solo work on a throwaway Creed reunion album.



that being said i don't hate this album. it's fine, there's just nothing really to come back to.

my own prison was dark and gritty and grungy and expunged a lot of real emotion, but i think this is indeed where they came full circle and produced an album more challenging and artistic that for some might feel at odds with their older more commercialized sound

This album is probably their best from a pure songwriting perspective. It's way more consistent than Weathered while also not being monotone. The vocal hooks hit and the guitar arrangement is top notch. Never understood why this didn't hit better with most people.
