Honestly one of the best and most influential bands of the last 25 years. This whole album is essential listening, but the first three tracks are just absolute perfection.
Best moment: the sound of Mike's voice when he says the 'don't know whether I should laugh or cry' line in the chorus of From Out Of Nowhere.

This album is amazing! I personally think Epic is the worst song on this one. Not saying its bad, it just means that the whole album is top notch.

Yep. I tend to shy away from overplayed songs. Its good. I just dont like it as well as the others.

Great review. While not their best, The Real Thing is still quite kick-ass, no matter how annoying Patton can get on this album (and this is coming from somebody whos favorite band ever is FNM).
