"Once “Paranoid Android” begins, so does the reconstruction of the listener’s understanding of the human and cybernetic relationship. Thom Yorke’s vocals, the only link back to purely organic Man, waver and pitch through the record as they become more instrument than narrator; more environment than guide."

I really thought this was a joke review after reading that part.

As screenwriter extraordinaire Tommy Wiseau once wrote: "People are very strange these days."

What has always made Radiohead special is, not only their unique abstract offerings, but the wonderment of a band sharing that same obscure vision.

And is partly why I hate them. The actual advice given in the comments is spot on, this could be far better if not for the over-used metaphors and strange sentence structure.

you need to slow down with these reviews. you seem like a good writer but your work suffers when you pump them out like this. take some more time to read your shit over before you post it.

Radiohead isn't experimental or innovative at all. They are just far better than anyone else at taking the music around them and refining and poppifying it

Kid A was an experimental album absolutely nothing 'poppified' (lol) about it. THE CASE IS CLOSED.

If by pop, you guys mean Verse-Chorus structure, then sure. But that's it. And that structure is only used for, say, half the album.

It might be pop compared to aphex twin, but can you really say that this is pop music? Aside from Creep and Karma Police, there's really not much pop about them.
