Read in an interview that they considered making a Church of the Machine part 2 for this album. Kinda disappointed they didn't because it probably would have been a more interesting song than most/all of the songs on here.

Band fell off hard as this is a weak 3.5 for me. They'll never be able to live up to Wings and that album with the mirror on the cover- can't think of the name lol.

New Mythology Suite and Divine Wings are their best, yep. This one sounds all the same. They said everything they had to say with this style on Paradise Lost, so both this and Underworld are unnecessary in the first place. It's only a third of what they used to be stylistically (the prog rock and classical aspects have fallen away completely and only the heaviness is left), and what was prog back then is only mindless technicality now. Light 3 for me, could drop if I ever listened to it again

I'm with you guys; threw this on while gaming the other night and it's still a bit of a slog, but When All Is Lost has been sparking some replays, the chorus is infectious and the guitar solo comes in so beautifully.
