Center of the Universe + Farewell one of my favorite openings to any album

Agreed. Same for March of Mephisto + When the Lights Are Down, but the opening songs on here flow better.

Glad I'm not the only one kameloting right now

I'm kameloting 24/7. Even when I haven't listened to Kamelot for weeks and months, my body is still in kameloting mode.

So basically you're in beast mode at all times

Of course m/
"This is their best."
It's their most well-rounded as an album, yes. And their best together with Black Halo imo.

Roy needs to get back in the biz

Heard he struggles mentally though
Touring like crazy probably didn't help

III Ways to Epica is amazing. The run from The Fourth Legacy up until Black Halo is generally brilliant.

I love the fourth legacy title track

"Roy needs to get back in the biz"
Hmm, he probably wouldn't be able to live up to what he did with Kamelot. I don't know, it would be nice to hear his voice on a studio album one more time, but I'm afraid it would turn out to be some mellowed-down stuff that doesn't do anything extraordinary ... I don't know, I'm really torn about it. I mean, before he releases an annoying album full of religious praise songs, I'd rather like his discography to be over with the 11 albums he did with Conception and Kamelot.

I hear ya.I don't care what he's singing personally, I just love his voice. I'll happily listen to a worship album as long as its done well lol.

Yeah I mean I wouldn't mind a religous message, but songs of that kind tend to sound all the same ... Well, we'll see. I don't think it'll happen though.

III Ways to Epica's 10/4 instrumental part after the second chorus is sooo amazing. So much going on. And then yeah, the Farewell reprise in the bridge. A perfect way to end this.

A man can hope.
On a side note, how fucking corny/amazing is that gregorian chant in the bridge of Edge of Paradise? So sick

Yeah, especially with Khan's falsetto over it.

Goddamn, I miss playing Diablo II with this (and other Kamelot albums) in the background. Good times.
