They had the best decade of any band in history (maybe some argument here for the 60s Beatles). Even though the Wall is leagues below the rest of their 70s albums.

oh you've never heard them?
they take music to another level. their music, it's like a whole new level of art. the way they use
spoken word passages and compose music around them is genius.
like, do you want me to keep going because I could go on forever about why they're amazing. if you
seriously haven't heard them i pity your soul. their most accessible is probably the Slow Riot EP but
Lift Your Skinny Fists is my favourite album of all time

I think the problem with this review is that you talk about the hype and nature about this album, without ever really penetrating that hype and discussing why the album is special. You mention the nature of the album and the mysticism surrounding it, but you really don't go into any depth describing or analyzing it. You talk about the album as if everybody has already listened to it, and while everybody may have already heard DSotM, the point of a review is to entice people to listen to an album they've never heard before.
Don't worry though, this is a common problem amongst early reviewers. Since this is your third review, it seems you have some experience writing about albums you know and love, so with your next review I recommend you listen to an album you've never heard before and try to write about it. For the first couple listens, don't think about reviewing the album, just soak it in and absorb it, after you've become acquainted with the album, listen again with a keener ear and try to dissect what's happening. Discuss how the album makes you feel, what moments resonate with you and what moments fall flat.
Hopefully this helps.

you seem like a good enough dude, and I'd hate to see any new users become disenfranchised with the site because of how cliquey it's become.
