pretty cool album, but I expect their next album (or debut album, dunno) to be superior

you know it's a rasputin review when it ends with "This comes with the highest recommendation I can possibly give." and it's a 4 review.

been meaning to listen to this for a while now after all the praise it's received. will remedy that tonight.

something doesn't need to be a 5/5 to be highly recommended

Found out about these guys after Music Ruins Lives announced they were handling the CD release, and I love it. I'm too broke right now to buy it too, but I need to get my hands on a copy when it comes out. Sounds like it's going to be a nice package.

Very good review, drew me in to listening to this EP. Best thing I have heard in awhile, even though I can't quite place why. The same record label also put out a Life In The Dark comp that anyone into heavy drone or even metal needs to check out: http://musicruinslives.bandcamp.com/album/the-sunya-is-rising-limbs-in-gloom

this is pretty damn sweet. i like the lo-fi vibe that doesnt sound like usual metal lo-fi... probably has a lot to do with the electronic stuff here. either way, i dig it.

ah yeah i streamed the first few tracks of that. seemed pretty cool, but nothing grabbed me about it. ill give it a proper listen some time, though its kind of annoying they dont have the last track on there..

I can't stand the vocals...it's difficult to express how difficult that "twang" is to listen to.
