I mean seriously, how do you go from that to a band as derivative as this >_> probably won't even bother listening to this since I never really dug the band to begin with.

Amott is repeating himself, and it hurt considering he's one of my favorite guitarists.
At least people are starting to realise Angela and her studio magic vocals are getting tiring.

I actually liked this. They've got some great riffs and some good ideas, they just need to streamline it a bit more.

Agree with KronosRage...sounds like u listened to about 3 songs then did a review. What if it's a grower...as a reviewer don't u have a certain responsibility to listen to the whole album a few times and digest it properly...amatuer!
Also there are plenty of bands with female singers and u calling it schtick is narrowminded.

I've yet to hear a woman that's able to growl/scream as good as most of the male vocalists that practice that sort of vocal techniques. Angela has a nice vocal range but in the end her performance just falls short compared to other DM vocalists.
