I just have that feeling, mark my words I think they'll only get better from here on out. This just had the awkwardness of that one guy leaving

I liked this better than Mirrored, so you might be onto something...

Don't know if any of you guys have been following the Dross Glop series but Battles are releasing a set of 4 12" remix vinyls. Part 1 is out, with The Field & Gui Boratto taking up the helm. Part 2 is out soon, with Kode9, The Alchemist & Shabazz Palaces featured

That's Boratto's. It's a great beat and all, just a little disappointed that more wasn't made of it

Heard the first already, pretty good but not as great and fun as the originals. Apparently, like some of you, I was also a bit dissapointed in the Borrato one.

This album pales in comparison to Mirrored, but its still a cut above the average

Yeah, Kode9's, Hudmo's and Borrato's (which took me awhile to come around to) are great. The rest are painfully average

It's still kind of a disappointment given what Gui would normally do under the circumstances but yeah it does work on you over time

the Gui remix is the shit, yeah. not familiar with him though so imma have to look into some of his stuff. actually, the only 2 artists on this collection that i had already heard albums from were Shabazz and The Field. The Field's last album was good but i hardly ever felt like listening to it, although the remix on Dross Glop is more enjoyable than i recall anything on Looping State being. Might have to give that album another shot. as for the Shabazz remix, it's fvcking amazing. prolly my fave on the whole collection.
