His albums, pre-Eno is a little hit-or-miss, but the Berlin Trilogy Bowie did with Eno is fantastic.

berlin trilogy is 2 out of 3 good/decent albums and 1 amazing one, that one being the less 'berlinesque' of the three, might i add.
The more ambient/''''experimental'''' tracks are pretty ok-ish and not quite interesting, imo.
