S/t has one of the best (maybe *the* best) TVU tracks tho.

Song I know by VU:
1."Sunday Morning"
2."I'm Waiting for the Man"
3."Femme Fatale"
4."Venus in Furs"
5."Heroin"
6."I'll Be Your Mirror"
7."Here She Comes Now"
8."Sister Ray"
9."Sweet Jane"
I might as well just get the debut over with since I know 6/11 songs, right?

Also, I'd recommend the mono versions of VU&N and WL/WH. The stereo mixes are fine, but for how they sound, you're better off with the mono mixes. Also, out of those songs, were there any particular favorites? WL/WH, as said already is my favorite, but Venus in Furs or Femme Fatale are probably my favorite songs by them.

"Sunday Morning" is the one I go back to the most

Listen to VU&N then. The other one doesn't have anything that sounds similar to that one (and VU&N is better anyway).

I mean if I had to pick a 2nd favorite from that list it'd probably be Sister Ray though
I'm so inconsistent in what I like gaaah

In that case, go with the debut first. I'd wager going chronologically would do you best if you have the interest. Avoid Squeeze, that only has Doug Yule on it and even he doesn't really consider it a Velvet Underground album. It was something made due to Steve Sesnick [manager of the VU] merely attempting to line his pockets before the VU officially broke up.
Since you mentioned Sister Ray as your second, I'd still say go chronologically.
@Alex
Here She Comes Now is pretty similar to some of the stuff on VU and Nico

True, I forgot about that one for a moment. Even then, it's the shortest one, the rest of the album is very different. But, yeah Ars, go chronologically

I named myself after this album.
Jk, I'm not that cool.
|
| |
Did you name yourself after Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz's hit single Get Low from the album Kings of Crunk?

Still waiting for that Man Who Fell to Earth score, man
Subterraneans is fantastic, so the rest of the score has to be solid at the very least

I just remembered that I hate my name because it's too cool for me.

No, I named myself after the breakdown in A Day to Remember's smash hit The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle, from the album For Those Who Have Heart.

Oh, I see.
|
| |
I'm Waiting for the Man is killer
|
| |
Listen to White Light/White Heat.
|
| |
Ok. Listen to The Murder Mystery.

I should probably check that band, they just don’t feel as important as these new up & coming transcendial behemoths like The 1975, poets of our generation.

Good lad

"Much better. They should have stuck with whoever produced that song. It's actually listenable"
Good. It was produced by the band themselves. If production is a big issue for you listen to their s/t album and Loaded.
