Yeah it does. Redemption is so good, and I like English Curse. Although, if it went for a minute I think it would be easier to listen to. I always get a minute through expecting it to be over.

Everything Poetry of the Deed should have been. I don't think Glory Hallelujah 'works' 100%, but the rest of the album more than makes up for it; will probably end up a 4.5.

Does anyone else find Peggy Sings the Blues sounds a bit Counting Crowsish?

don't really get why people dislike english curse, his voice isn't the strongest but it's a nice break/interlude in the album

Album is just awesome. English Curse is a cool little interlude. At least, i like it.

This.

As for English Curse, it works well in context of the album, but it's not something that I'd listen to on its own.

Yeah I'd agree with that. I think it'd work in the context of a live set too but I can't see myself ever skipping to that track while listening to this.

my issue with this album is that nothing is as good as I Am Disappeared

nah, I Am Disappeared is his best song to date. Totally overshadows just about everything else he's done.

I'm with Knott, I Am Disappeared is the best. I listen to Peggy Sang the Blues the most though.
