Yeah lisrened to a few songs and it seemed really repetitive. It would work better if they didnt stick to the same riffs for such an extended amount of time. I think these guys definitely have potential though, they just need to work on their songwriting a bit

i'll admit my first impression of this (after the pointless intro) was pretty positive, i can most certainly dig fast riffs and blasting. but then over the course of the album they really play in too many directions and never develop any kind of enjoyable atmosphere, and in the end that's why we listen to bm in the first place. i would call this a failure. still this

Listening to this in parts. I'm not all that joyed with this. Pitchfork seemed to rate it pretty high before I listened to it. I think it's neat these guys have sort of coined the new "3rd wave of black metal" of whatever the hell these genre 1337ists call it, but it just doesn't really go that well IMO, unfortunately.
