When the chorus comes in from that little bridge section towards the end of Holocene, I still can't help but undulate like an idiot. So beautiful.
His feature on the new James Blake has made my week.

Album Rating: 4.5
Well all the first five are undeniably great so what's your problem with the rest?
|
| |
tracks 1, 2, 4, 5 are great + calgary is decent
holocene is boring and overlong
hinnom, tx and lisbon, oh are boring filler/interludey wastes of space
wash takes five minutes to go absolutely nowhere
beth/rest is a horrid combo of all the worst parts of 80s shite

Replace Minnesota WI w/Holocene and I'm right on board with ya Tommy, in fact Minnesota might be my least favorite here
|
| |
i like it cos his non-falsetto voice is also nice and it's rare for him to use it

This was my favourite Bon Iver for a long time. I think I prefer For Emma now, but this is still amazing.
