Awesome. I saw that Cave In had released a new album and it's good to hear that it's pretty damn good. Been into bands with a sludgy sound/foundation lately so this promises to be good. Nice review, btw, pos'd.

i really dont like this so far. I was so hyped up for the return of the 'metal' Cave In, but instead I get really boring and trite post-metal. Its not absolutely awful or anything but Im still really disappointed with this so far, I just don't like the style, its really boring. They lost their edge.

Im so bored by this right now. The riffs really suck (their early stuff had some of the most amazing guitar riffs I've ever heard) but they just seem kind of noisy and bland on here. Its just kind of all loud and explosive but behind that noise there's nothing really. Even the vocals are produced poorly. Im such a huge fan of almost everything this band has ever done, but this just wont cut it. At least so far. Im kinda digging "Centered" but everything before that did absolutely nothing for me.

it was an obvious direction if you ever listened to Zozobra or Old Man Gloom and the last few songs sound like Steve's solo stuff. quit yr bitching and man the fuck up.

I love the heavy songs. I'm not big on the hippie sounding shit steve tacked on to the end of this. but the heavy songs are so fucking bad ass.
