Your review comes across as very fanboy-ish and almost not at all objective. I've nothing against different opinions, but to be honest this album is quite mediocre, if not poor, from what I've heard, and the majority of this site seems to have a similar opinion. Again, there would be no problem if you made some solid points why you think this album is a classic.

And stop getting butthurt, not liking KoRn doesn't equate to not liking metal. I'd pick thrash or death metal over KoRn any day to be honest, even though their first albums are quite good every once in a while.

Also Limp Bizkit is horrendous.

Now I'd like to help you understand at least, if not improve. You see, the way I see it, the review section is not some place where you can go "dude this album is the shit" or "man this album is gay do not want". The review section is a place where, for the most part, people go when they want an opinion on an album. A review is supposed to be a helpful text, if possible entertaining, that lets most people know wether they should obtain or avoid a particular album. A review is not THE fact, but it's supposed to be an educated, well-supported opinion. You should make some points to help people understand, for example why an album is good.

"The drum patterns and fills are, for the most part, simple, however the vocals and amazing guitar leads maintain your interest throughout the album. Also noteworthy is the usage of symphonic elements in song X, as well as the very well-executed heavier song Y."
Something along those lines, basically. Those are some points you may want to have, if they apply to the album you're reviewing.

It's true people weren't very constructive, but you have to understand they're allowed to have an opinion and not get so defensive and hurt about it.

"JD also did a lot of thinking about life in general. And I mean A LOT. A good example is in the song entitled "Move on", where Davis figures out that he is alive ("I realize I am alive")."



There is nothing bias in that statement since he is alive, he realized it and it shows growth.
