Spent $5 on their patreon and it has been VERY worth it so far.

Sinful Math songs so far:

God Is in the Wicked

Float (I am darkness)

Rancid Religion

Debba

Fathers Sins

Might As Well Be Brutus

Last Remark

Billy Shakes

Rejoice in the Name

Unsure if the plan is to re-record these or what. They also have released a demo version of a simple math song as a counterpart for each of the above released songs.

And a 23 minute christmas cover "album"!

I'm not on their Patreon but I'm very interested in what Sinful Math will end up sounding like

Well these sinful math demos are stellar and will make an extremely solid counterpart to this album.

I would expect an official sinful math drop some time in May or June. They announced in the original Patreon announcement that they want to release a double album of Sinful Math and other demo stuff from the time for the 10 year anniversary of simple math (May 11 2011).

The main reason I started paying for their patreon is to get the first access to that vinyl when it drops.

I really hope they either have polished versions of all these tracks from 2011 or that they re-record them for the actual release.. they really deserve a full official release.

Anyone know what their plans are for Sinful Math at this point? Is it still going to drop on the 10 yr anniversary of Simple Math? Will it only be available to Patreon members?

I've actually read a ton of reddit comments talking about how you don't really get your money's worth on MO's patreon. Don't know how true that is and a lot of redditors are fucking idiots, but it was enough to deter me when I was on the fence to sign up. Lots of "$200 and all I got was a t-shirt" sort of comments.

I know we discussed this a bit months ago, but I have found the $5 a month to be worth it, but I can understand why someone (especially someone paying more) wouldn't feel they are getting their fair share.

The orchestral drum-heavy ending to Mighty is fucking out of this world. The whole song really is.

I forget where I saw it but I remember there being some Mighty hate and I'm here for the fight today

As promised, I am forwarding the Patreon message we received a couple hours ago about Sinful Math:

"Hello all.

We never thought that these songs years and years ago would see the light of day - much less be pressed on a vinyl. We are so excited to give you first access to the Sinful Math 4-disc vinyl box set - including unreleased demos and b-sides… along with the original Simple Math vinyl and our live Patreon performances.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay. It's bee a wild year, and vinyl productions are currently extremely delayed - but we have these in the works and want to give you the chance to reserve your copy before anyone else. Please submit your email and name here: https://www.artistic.io/u/lp/Manchester-Orchestra/t/c-rnSJ6RzV4rcMK7-QIOpsHBtiW9ZTC-QPouDpXHU-QkW8SJ/m/e/Reserve-Your-Copy-of-Sinful-Math.htm

No money is due now. We'll send you an email with the buy link before it goes wide to the public.

(NOTE: Production is expected to complete in early 2022)

Love you. - MO

I would suggest signing up for their $5 level on Patreon today, clicking the link and reserving yourself a copy if this interests you. They are verifying the reservations with associated email addresses on their Patreon.

If you do not want to reserve the Sinful Math vinyl, I wouldn't expect the B-Sides to be available for streaming until at least Mid-2022.
