Protector - A Shedding of Skin
better, imo, for early 90s deaththrash
|
| |
I've heard that one, I don't remember how much I liked it though, it's been a while. I'll give her another spin. Thanks for the rec. I love myself a good blend of old school death/thrash ie. Exoto "Carnival of Souls", early Pestilence, and this.

Wow I'm really surprised, this album grew off me as quickly as it grew on. After several listens, the replay value is decreasing. Needs more slower section to even out the tempo's, plus the bass needs to be higher in the mix too. Pretty bummed, its a 3.5/5 for me.
|
| |
nah shit rips
it's death/thrash i mean you can't really expect it to slow down all that much
|
| |
Yeah it does rip, but the death part of death/thrash can warrant slower tempos. The riffs are flashy, but not emotional enough for me, best part of this album is the drummer. He brings everything together.
