The backing tracks easily make this for me. A lot of the vocals are par for the course. They are not bad but exactly what you would expect... which is good to me.

Their worst album. It sounds like absolute shit. My ears can't take more than 2 songs of this. Most of their albums are mastered quite well. Beastie Boys were one of the few bands that continued to put out nice quality recordings 2000+, but for some reason they decided to butcher this one.

I think the review is well written, but that's as far as I can go. "Long Burn The Fire" has one of their best collective flows since "3 Minute Rule."

They're not from the school of conscious rap. They're braggadocios. They're having fun on the mic. I know what to expect when i hear there's a new Beastie Boys album, and they don't fail to deliver. they're not about changing the game anymore, and at this point they don't have to be. There really isnt much left for them to do at this point. They are pioneers that are still around and still have flavor and damnit, they still know how to make fun music

Haha when the beat in The Lisa Lisa/Full Force Routine goes into half-time I go off.

Gonna 4.5 this, production is just too damn good.

I'm an occasional listener of the Beastie Boys, but I truly find this album to be infectious. I bought it a few months ago, but i find myself listening to "Nonstop Disco Powerpack", "Long Burn", "Too Many Rappers", and "Dont Play" at least once a day. Great album.
