i'd say they're both equal quality, iirc dream loss has more ambience and alien observer has clearer, more accessible songwriting. it's been awhile since i listened to this though, which needs to be rectified today

gonna have to listen to both of these more before i rate them, but this is really some awesome shit. not very well versed in ambient, but i can see myself coming back to these much more frequently than other albums in the genre that i've heard.

a lot of her chord progression on this and dead deer sort of remind me of black metal. something about them. e.g. "she loves me that way" or dead deer's "fishing bird"
i feel like you could write down the chords and play them with chugging guitar and youd have a hit bm album
