it's hella post-rock. twinklies everywhere. and some of the melodies are some of the best in the biz

Some nice dissonant riffing on the new one, haven’t heard them do shit like that since The Eyes of a Single-Eared Prophet

i wonder if it's cuz of the new members (esp. yoshi from killie)

Damn I knew they had new members but I didn’t know a dude from killie was one of them. That’s really cool

Oh nice I was actually trying to figure out that too. Love that track.

Honestly, I haven't heard all the whole Envy discography, but I would be very surprised if the last one is not the best thing they have ever done.

This and DSS both have an edge on it, but it's the business

I don’t think the new one is best, I like when they stay a bit more consistent with the sound for the whole album. It’s definitely a welcome step up after Atheist’s Cornea though, the songs are overall a lot better and more exciting.

I'm surely overreacting but the new one may be their best since All the Footprints. There is something "euphoric" about this album that I really like.

Tbh most of their newer albums have something euphoric, especially when compared to this one here. I'm having high hopes for the new one

so I wasn't all that impressed by the first 3 songs off the new album; "sounds like Envy, yeah," I kept thinking.

but then Rhythm came on......

and then Marginalized Thread.....

and then HIKARI......

.... and then the rest of the album

honestly I was blown away. it's been a long, long time since an album moved me like this one did. I was clearing brush for the burn pile while listening to this and just felt overcome by a wave of inspiration and positivity. I had a "God moment" listening to it, lads

there are so many nuances they've added to their style and it's everything that I wanted and expected from a band with a tenure of 20+ years. just finished the album and wow. gonna listen to it again

Oh guys I'm so happy I'm not the only one getting hyped as fuck. Hope I'm not wrong and it withstand the test of time, but for now I'm listening it on repeat.
