Shockingly good album. I've absolutely hated everything the Foo Fighters have done since One by One, which sucked because they were one of my favorite bands in the 90s and I used to obsessively listen to "Everlong" and their first two albums like it was my job. This took me by total surprise by how much I enjoyed it. "Rope" sold me on it when I first heard it, rest of the album is great too though. "White Limo" is about as close to Grohl's old school punk roots as the Foos have ever done.



Good shit. Not sure about rating it yet. Somewhere in the 3.5-4.5 range.

The first 2 tracks blow me away each time I listen to this.

Why does everyone seem to have such a problem with 'A matter of time'? It's up there with Bridge Burning and Arlandria for me, even if it's just the brilliant chorus.

I'm impressed with the album... I can only score a 4 until I listen to it over and over and over again and let it sink in. But so far a 4... I agree no fillers. There isn't a song I dislike on the album... First Foo album to do that, at least for me...

#1 in the UK album charts - knocked Adele off the top spot. Nice.
