Checked out some of the songs and I liked the beats a lot but Mac but it's bothersome how emo he sounds. I can't help thinking of a 15 year old boy that wears eyeshadow and has hair covering one side of his face writing poetry when I hear it. Obviously he's talking about aging here (hence not 15) but the vibe is so strong that I think the comparison is still apt. I'm sure his life is really fucking difficult.

And am I the only one who decided against relationships at 12 years old? Seems like all you guys (especially Hans) are just these bitter motherfuckers who were naive about love and got burned so you remove yourself from emotion completely. Obviously I'm just getting this from a few snippets of text on the internet, but I get a strong feeling of this. Not trying to be your psychologist or something, but going from a broken relationship straight to the other extreme is just as juvenile as completely letting your guard down and getting your heart broken.

I find it funny how hans automatically assumes that younger people dont like this because they cant connect to it.

I had TO11:11S 5'd for a while. The lyrics, beats, and flow were all a ton better than this. So no, it's not the lyrics, stop being a fucktard.

You talk about people removing themselves from emotion, call them juvenile, but you decided against relationships at 12 years old? Letting your guard down is part of a relationship, not a failure. You'd have to be a complete coward to avoid it all your life.

Yeah, I decided against them and it is cowardly, but I still got dragged into one. When you really love someone it's impossible to repress. It was as if my brain didn't want it but my heart did, and I let my guard down. Cowardly? Sure. Detachment also makes life a lot easier.

Detachment might simplify things, but it also suggests you're wasting time worrying about getting hurt. I can't imagine getting to the end of my life feeling happy about all the pain I avoided. Think I'd rather get stuck into life and roll with the punches.

outstanding review as always Inveigh

I'm also one of the older users like Hans and I agree that it has a lot to do with how much you relate to this stuff OG11:11 hit me so hard when I heard it, it was unbelievable. This is not quite on that level but still real good 'Therapy For Gangsters' is awesome

Idnuf, yes, I am bitter. I married a total bitch just because she was hot, had a lot of baggage, and I wanted to save her. I was a dumbass naive, horny 22 year old idealist. Suffice it to say that being married to her was like having ice picks shoved in your eyes while someone runs a hot cheese crater across the back side of your cock. I am now divorced, and am seriously fucked over because of it.

It was my fault for being stupid. The reason I rant so much is that "love" or whatever the fuck you call it makes young guys fucking retarded. You literally cannot make solid decisions when you are infatuated by some broad. Your brain turns to shit. There is no bigger idiot than a moron who thinks he's in love.

So anyway, knowing this, and knowing many of you are going to have this happen to you, I am the wise old sage. And yes, I have a girlfriend. My rants are about my ex-wife, who just happens to be of the same name one of these songs is named after. And the subject matter is pretty fucking close, except where the part Mac misses her.

I was going though some really tough shit when I first heard OG1111 and I related to so much of it, mainly 'Epilogue'. I love that album but listening to it now takes me back to a really dark place so I've avoided it for months

yeah tell me about it. I actually feel sick when I hear it, I think that it speaks to the power of his lyrics but it's also because of what I was going though at the time and it describes what I was feeling almost exactly
