Is a 1 really necessary? Give me a little justification here.

Maybe the fact that the album is cold and soulless? Oh and it's boring as fuck.

I agree, the album sounds a little detached. You might call that cold and soulless, but for me, somehow, it feels heartwarming on every listen.

I'm still trying to put my finger on it, but it might be exactly that, that contrast.

definitely not cold at all, but can see where he's coming from with soulless (disagree), and boring as fuck (kindof disagree)

sell out

(edit: @downer, if that was unclear) not like the driving force behind a series of instant 5s turned

his back on them or anything...

but seriously, i'm looking forward to your review of this as your king of limbs review was excellent.

just don't say anything you're not certain about as i would rather wait another week to read it than

have you bite your tongue again.

finding this cold isnt surprising to me. it's his darkest record, he's been pretty upfront about how it represents a lot of darker emotions

going from a 5 to a 4.5 isnt going from a 4 to a 3 =(. But no matter, this sits nicely at a 4.5 for me

i hold the 5 label in incredibly high esteem, so they're almost as big to me, but either way, excellent review. the appeal within tomboy is even more apparent, even though it's not what would appeal to me

Bumped up to a 4. Yeah, the last few tracks are a little weak in comparison to some of the other tracks on here, but the high points on this are so fucking good.
