BUT HERE I GO AGAIN
MAKING ONE MORE ENEMY!!!!
|

Kinda wish these guys were still a band. Bought this after III, and I'm quite happy that I did. This one's a much more cohesive listen from front to back.

I started with III as well and grew to love this one a lot more, even though all of them are killer
|
| |
good record but a bitch to get into
|
| |
I broke down the door on this one. III required a crowbar.
|
| |
This is awesome.

Aside from the production and the vox, this album has really few elements of sludge, maybe death n roll but still not quite ...
I really dont think this band should be labeled as sludge (at least not on this album), same thing applies for mastodon high on fire baroness kylessa and the list goes on and on ...

I think there is an element of sludginess found in their music. It might not be outright and in your face, but the influence is definitely in there somewhere

That guitar tone is perfect

Without a doubt. Very similar to You Fail Me I feel. I wonder if Converge made the song Sadness Come Home to remember this band. Hell comes home is probably my favourite song on here.
|
| |
An interesting thought. I'll have to re-listen to both tracks.
