thanks washboard -- i did as you suggested (all constructive advice greatly appreciated as always). i mean, this isn't

mezzanine. but mezzanine is one of my favorite albums of all time, so to me, pretty much nothing is.

i miss porno chic. 'deep throat' is pretty funny, 'behind the green door' is incredibly erotic and 'the devil in miss jones' is also one of the most intense (and surprisingly not sexual) flicks i've ever seen

Oh well the devil makes us sin

But we like it when we're spinning, in his grin.

you care for gui borato's remix? it's not as good, but i respect his vision and i think he brings the sound to a wider audience

'saturday come slow' is growing on me, which makes the final 4 tracks on here one of the best 4 song progressions in trip-hop

Yah sorry that's a bad comparison imo. More live Heligoland vs. Grey race... and I still like them both ;^P

I love Saturday Comes Slow. I think Damon has really progressed since Blur and think he has become so much more emotive (as expressed in this song).

I'm speaking in general, I like Blur and have just been pleasantly surprised over the years by his continued growth.

o -- cool. i only know song 2 from his blur days but feel like he grew a lot with the gorillaz (i think i'm just agreeing with you. too tired / can't type properly). the gorillaz are officially disbanded now though i think? :/

That sir is most unfortunate, unless you don't like alternative rock. I would rec you their 2 disc greatest hits if you do though.
