UGH best album in the planet,

this is what tore off the faces of the faceless.

this is why MAYA hides behind a VEIL,

this is the reason why after the burial was buried,

this is the reason why we came upon a BURNING body,

this is why they SEE STARS.

/end rant

lol 4.5-5 is a bit over the top for this record. Having said that im very surprised by how good this is. Shits all over PTH and THA's newest (inc. hate).

Thanks Apollo - it's my first review haha, I just screwed this up and posted it twice somehow (I'm not sure how to delete the first one).

But... the production sounds fine to me? :/ I much prefer this guitar tone to A Higher Place.

And for the record... I'm really not a Sumerian fanboy :P Hence the beginning of the review. I'm a massive TCMC fan, but other than that... mehh. That's why I was so surprised by this album.

I like this and I generally dislike trendy deathcore crap, but this is not crap. lolwut? Exactly. It's pretty surprising considering the rest of their discography is pretty mediocre.

Highlight of the album : Track #15 "Behold"

listen to this track and there is no reason for you to listen to the rest of the album

Richardson does so much for this band. Behold rips, but there are many great tunes here. Negs are meh production, tacky keyboards (although to be fair theres tasty tasty shit too) and the br00talz is overreaching sometimes.

This is pretty damn average

And Sonic this actually is mall metal lol, so many generic breakdowns and the drumming is even worse, just the typical breecore double bass

If this bands keyboardist was less wanky and if The Contortionist didn't exist, this would be a 4.5.
