I don't know how anyone could think this is better than Fever. I'm one of the few here who actually liked Pretty. Odd more than this.

I don't know how anyone could think this is better than Fever
Fever has some really good moments, but some parts are awfully annoying. Nothing on this is annoying or over-the-top theatrical like much of Fever. It definitely flows better as an album too. maybe I'll review it to flesh out my opinion better.

There is nothing annoying or awful on a Panic! At the Disco record.

"There is nothing annoying or awful on a Panic! At the Disco record."
Besides the bland overproduction, annoying vocals, lack of sincerity, Myspace headline lyrics, and unoriginality...

I didn't care enough to listen to Pretty Odd. I think it'll turn out the same with this.

scaled down a lot of their touring to a more intimate setting
Don't know where you're getting your facts and figures from, but they upgraded to a venue that seats 20 thousand people from a venue that seats 5500 in Australia.
Following Pretty. Odd.’s lukewarm reception
Do I really have to do this again? ATTN, Panic reviewers: just because YOU didn't like P.O., doesn't mean it was a "lukewarm reception"
Review is alright otherwise

While reflecting on the theatrical nature of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out touring, Urie commented "We did it and it was a lot of fun when we did it, but this time around I think we wanted to get back to a more intimate, personal setting, and scale it down a little bit." Ryan Ross explained that "It's more about connecting with the audience and seeing what's gonna happen every night. It's not as scripted out and pre-planned. It makes it more exciting for us, and less monotonous every night."
Granted I only just now saw this on wikipedia, but I knew there was a reason for me saying they toned down their live shows
