I would never associate the two. I realize that most music sounds great high, but Spears' stuff just seems way too upbeat and dancey.

It does, at times, make you wonder quite what some pop artists would have to do to warrant less than a 3/5
(haven't heard this, just talking general; klapper's Perry review being the anomaly.)

halfway through this now
response is largely positive, sort of really hated the first track. this is pretty good, will.i.am sucks though. it's like the tracks are decent enough but marred with parts that will definitely ruin the whole package for some people

That track with will.i.am could have been so much more - the background music and subtle processed vocals are actually pretty cool. I still think the only song worth salvaging is the first.

the first part is this really shitty cheap sounding trumpet and acoustic guitar thing
if I heard it and only it out of context I would probably think it belonged on one of Sol Invictus's 20+ releases which all sound practically the same
