I got this recently, and I'm disappointed. It's pretty interesting, but not spectacular at all. The vocals are probably the biggest letdown, I'd heard so many good things about Garm that his effort on this album just doesn't cut it for me. I'll rate it after a few more listens, but it doubt highly it'll be over 4.This Message Edited On 02.19.06

I was dissappointed with this album after "La Masquerade" - it just sounds too normal.
La Masquerade was truely groundbreaking, The Sham Mirrors is a good album but doesn't have the same magic.

Norway. I don't recommend albumbase, there's a lot of dead links, corrupted archives and awful quality releases. I use it as an absolute last resort.
I still need to order this actual like, hard copy style. I thought I had it but I definitely imagined that.

Ah. SS was a great for a couple listens, but it wears thin. I wouldn't necessarily call it "suck" though. This album is always a win.
