Basically, Pretty Odd is crap and this is miles better. But to answer your question, this is more like Fever.

I couldn't get over the similarities to (ahem, one of the most universally acclaimed rock bands of all time) enough to enjoy Pretty. Odd. It did have some nice tunes though.

The Beatles thing was fucking retarded. The people who said that have only ever heard two bands from the sixties, the Beatles and the Stones.

oh but c'mon, you can't deny there are strong similarities. i'm not saying they ripped off of them, but i can understand why anyone would be turned off by the apparent similarities.

it was still a well-constructed and thought out record though

I found greater similarities to The Kinks and The Zombies than I did to The Beatles, tbh.

i agree with you, but i think most people heard the beatle-like harmonies in the vocals, which overshadowed the fact that it was pretty musically diverse

I actually really like the last song off this. I hear more of The Beatles in Pretty, Odd than The Zombies.

Yes, I DEFINITELY see Zombies in Pretty. Odd. That's the most accurate comparison I've heard. Psh, Beatles...
