Exactly. OA is still a classic but it's different; feels kind of immature even if the memories I associate with it are priceless. WYTTSY and SA, on the other hand, still hit hard even as an adult.

ocean avenue is tied to one very specific (wonderfully immature) memory for me (my first love/breakup lol), whereas these two albums seem to reframe themselves every few years and are tied to so many different moments.. love both but nothing weighs up against the ability of an album to repeatedly position itself in new and refreshing ways
and you should, i'd love to read that!
