potato, you really should. this is a vast improvement over CDC, which you had at a 2.5, this is much better.
kell, while i still firmly believe that that review goes well with the album, a lot of people didnt like it. so i dunno if
continuing it in the band's discog is the best idea but god damn is this good high.

Album is very good, but I must admit I fell prey to boredom between album highlights. Songs like 'The Levitated' grab you immediately and beg multiple listens, but many of the others are missing that hook for me.

Seems like Animals as Leaders have strong competition now.

I definitely enjoy STS over Animals As Leaders. Less metal.
Got this yesterday and it's pretty awesome. I do agree with some of the comments saying that it seems less memorable than CDC, but we'll see how it grows.

Great, but not 5. Not sure if it's better than Carving.

Taters, this is MUCH more exciting to listen to.

Too meytalz for my tastes. I saw the progressive tag and nods to jazz and metal and was hoping for some King Crimsony stuff.
Some of the changes are really cool though.

Definately going to check this out right now. Review got me excited.

This is a lot better than I was expecting it to be. The quantity of good music being released this year is already ridiculous.

Wowowow. This is the one to beat for 2011 so far. I'm an avid hiker and backpacker and I am leaving on a 6-12 month long trek in a couple months, and this kind of music could be part of a soundtrack to that kind of nomadic yearning.
This album feels more dynamic than Carving Desert Canyons. It's like they've already proven their point and now they're just taking their time elaborating on it.
