That's one of hiphop's finest moments. His incredible storytelling ability literally has that chorus going through your head during the entire song. The ending is so unexpected as well but it makes the song.

BTW between Lil Kim's verse here and the Fuck Me interlude on RTD, I really would have loved to hear a whole duo album with those 2

The r&b tracks on this are pure pain. Mo money mo probz has got to be one of the worst song ever recorded. It’s easy to remember Biggie for Ready 2 Die, easy to forget how big of a sell out he is was 😂

Just facts. It was never any kind of secret that Biggie was glory chaser. I don’t think it’s very controversial to point out how quick he was to jump ship and go mainstream, especially with all the east / west beef.

The r&b shit works for some people and that’s cool tho. There are some songs on this that I like too.

I love the less serious vibe of the record actually (I know somebody's got to die exists). I'll obviously listen to this and Ready to Die on different moods. And yes, you can't really compare this to All Eyes on Me. Completely different vibe!

yeah the vibe on this is different but I love it. I think this is the best mafioso record. it's almost as good as RTD imo, it's just less consistent

production on this is crazy too, and timeless. RTD in comparison sounds very 1994

That's kind of a bit too high praise for this imo despite my rating. Still love it to bits. I Got a Story is an all time fav.
