He was great to me the 3 or 4 times I'd met him... I know he tried to kill himself at least twice... That's probably a good reason Chiodos kicked him out. Being on the road just isn't a good thing for someone that clearlt has some issues. And it certainly isn't good for the band that backs him when they have to cancel shows and let their fans down because their front man is an emotional wreck. I think that had a big part to play in why they let him go. But the man makes good music and is interesting to watch and is interesting in his promotional stunts so why not watch what he does next? I think he does what he does very well... There isn't really anything wrong with thisbalbum except that its really catchy and people seem to think that's a bad thing. But try thinking that when these songs get stuck in your head. I think this band should.. be accepted for what they are: A really catchy, slightly superficial band that is fun to listen to. And they do exactly that, admirably! Just sayin...

"‘Mr Owl Ate My Metal Worm’ and ‘If You Think This Song is About You’ show hope in what this band could do and should move towards in the future", exactly! I was very impressed when I heard ‘Mr Owl Ate My Metal Worm’ and ‘If You Think This Song is About You’, but then, when I heard the whole album I was a bit disappointed. I think all the songs are structurally very similar.

This cd is fucking garbage.. I tried so hard to like it but it just fell on it's face before it got anywhere.

Overall, this albums sucks pretty hard, but there are a couple of songs I enjoy.



My favorite is the last song 11. "My Swagger Has a First Name"



This album is surely not cohesive and some songs (sex life) are so bad it makes me want to destroy the album.



Lyrics are pretty bad and cliche (but I dont really pay too much attention to lyrics)



To put my review in perspective:

-All's Well That Ends Well would land in my "Favorite 100 albums of all time) list

-Bone Palace was a dissapointment

-This is also a dissapointment

Yeah it has some good moments on it

Just listened to a few songs by "D.r.u.g.s". This is a terrible band. If this guy was hated before this crap came out he deserves to not exist in the music industry. Lyrics in one of his songs "Sometimes hate is beautiful" no, thats not a fact.
