Get over Norris.

the new guy has a lot of talent, i will say that. both have different styles so it's hard to judge them side by side. I listened to this album last night, and i can honestly say i can finally get over norris. With eternal return, i was doubtful of the direction they were taking but this album shows a kind of return to form. the melodies are pretty damn good

Looking forward to seeing them again back at their home in DC on Friday night.
And I'm sorry, I just don't get all of you saying this album sounds like the others. It has much a more progressive, clean sound -- you can really here Peter's influence -- that differentiates it from the others. Love it.

Very good review man. Mediocre album at best

Wound is the best song by far

Seriously, to say that Kris Norris made this band is a dick statement. Get over it. This is better than their last effort. Thus, do we still need to hear about his departure?

It’s a fact: without guitarist Kris Norris, Darkest Hour are just not as

There are hell lotta good bands out there than these guys.

saw these guys open for Dillinger, they were pretty generic/boring

when all their stuff with him is better than their stuff without him, ie this and eternal return, i believe it's still relevant, even more so since this was supposed to be their return to form. The band simply cannot create as good music without him.

Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us are my favorites
I might give this a listen though

Just saw them play them live in DC tonight, and two new songs they played sounded solid. Still a fan of Deliver Us though (which they played a fair amount of).

ive been there since the beginning and this is a band that you can just skip an album and pick up their next one and keep moving with them right where you left off. just consistent genre binding hxc. just now going to get the eternal return.

I agree with this review. DH was at it's prime with Norris. This album is solid but nothing I haven't heard before.

This is definitely a step in the right direction after Eternal Return.

Got some sick riffs as usual, but no songs as a whole that stand out like Demon(s) or With A thousand Words... did.

No God is their catchiest song.
