unless you were here back in the days when City of Evil came out, you can't really comment on it.
the dickriding was ridiculous.

haha well thanks i guess.
i honestly don't give a fuck if someone flames me for something i like. music affects people differently. what may be a masterpiece to your ears may be brokencyde to my ears.
and plus a7x is one of the only bands that i like and sputnik doesn't, but it's whatever. guys like this reviewer make me look bad.

yeah I'm not flaming you. But 90% of sevenfold fans I've talked to are like bad Tool fans.
|
| |
good, haha.
yeah most a7x fans are the kids that didn't get into them until their self-titled record. the hot-topic era fans.
in all honesty, waking the fallen has inspired so much of my guitar style in terms of writing and everything else. self titled is bc13 compared to WTF.

There's 3 good songs on here

save me, so far away, fiction = welcome to the family
idunno. so far away gets to me though, reminds me so much of my fallen friend

Fiction, Save Me, God Hates Us
The title track is bearable as well
|
| |
i honestly didn't think s/t was as terrible as everyone thought it was, i gave it a 3.
this album is just really personal to me, hah. me and you are extremely simlilar, andcas. in more ways than one.
and plus the uproar show back in september had a perfect setlist. made this album better.

"The next track, God Hates Us is the most brutal track on the album."
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOT
|
| |
i've always liked the mood change from so far away into god hates us. goes from sorrow to anger, like in the grieving process.
been there done that.
but seriously, don't ever use the word "brutal" when describing a7x ever again mr. reviewer man.

I was going to see 'em in dallas and was trying to ctach the last half the set or so but I had a gig before the concert and
they started early and I only caught the last song. They sounded pretty good judging by that.
|
| |
the only thing i didn't like about their set is that they closed with almost easy. ALWAYS close with something from wtf, always

the last song they played when i went was unholy confessions so i was happy
|
| |
then fucking disturbed came on after and played "IT'S JUST ANOTHER WAY TO DIE-UH"
i swear they played the same song for all like 15 songs they played. a7x should've closed because disturbed sucks

Disturbed did a decent job but I swear like every song bled together. They played a bit of The Sickness era stuff which
was nice though.

after reading the review, I have decided that this guy is a troll. If not, then holy shit buddy, learn how to write.
|
| |
the only songs by disturbed that i like are Stricken, Inside the Fire, and Liberate.
and they played those 3 back to back i believe. their video background was sick too, but other than those things... they were boring
