@doof
Funnily enough one of me mates was talking about it yesterday. I have to watch it on the old catch up.
Reading 92 on the Sunday has to be the one festival I’d choose to go to out of all. Ridiculous line up headlined by that legendary performance. Amazing.

The Reading performance is one I'd love to have gone to, happened about a year or two early otherwise I probably would have been there - I was really into the festivals by 15 but 13 not really, might have been to the Phoenix festival by then as it was local
Grohl was shitting it they wouldn't be good enough on the day or so he says, just said the pressure was majorly on with that performance - they recognised it as a massive one

The first half of this album is really strong, I absolutely love Colin Zeal, Star Shaped and Blue Jeans. Oh and Chemical World is pretty epic too! Yeah, bumped this one to a 4, I take it back being a 'slog', just needs a few spins to let it all sink in.

It is excellent, must admit! I'm a sucker for sad songs so Sing is still top for me, but given these past 3 days anything could change!
So far it's:

2. Parklife

Take it The Great Escape 'escaped' your rankings haha! Got me curious about 13 now though, that's quite low considering it's one of the highest rated albums on here. When I've finished with Blur, I'm going to do the same with Oasis (outside of their big tunes, I've never gave them a proper listen)

The Great Escape is far too sheeny, poppy and the band being directed where to go due to the success of Parklife.
I absolutely loved the band from 93 onwards but it was a let down at the time, I never would’ve admitted that then though.
Oasis have always been the more ‘all encompassing.’ I wasn’t as enraptured with their stuff as Blur back in the 90s but listen to them far more nowadays.
Oasis definitely have the better tunes.
