haha thanks man. My first idea was 'Let's bring on the burgers', wich is not bad either for it would have had attract a bunch of starved sputnikers.

I should be listening to Focus III and this myself soon, or it will be an insult to my own Dutchness.

Oh, you know. So much music, so little time.

Superb album.

Let's not forget to rate it then! Focus need all the ratings they can get ;)

Yeah it's understandable of course. Just in case you go to get their legendary 'L'Heptade', pick up 'Harmonium en Tournée' prior to it. It's 'L'Heptade' live without some of its so to call 'superfluous' ethereal parts.

Well I don't really care much for live albums most of the time, since most of them add little to the orignal material (there are exceptions of course).

Also I think it is not a bad idea to review more French (Canadian) and Dutch prog, ha!

Well I'd say that 'Harmonium en Tournée' is one of these essential lives, so it's up to you, mate.

This! It makes me happy just thinking of it. Let's garnish the database!

Glad to see you liking it, Nag. Speaking about the Netherlands, Kayak is a band I'm interested to cover.

I knew beforehand I would, obviously I have heard some bits and pieces from Focus before. There is actually a spoken part from van Leer at the end of the title track in Dutch, I have no idea if it has any specific meaning though, it's vague even to me.

O kerstnacht, schoner dan de dagen

Hoe kan Herodes het licht verdragen

Dat in uw duisternisse blinkt

En wordt gevierd en aangebeden

Zijn hoogmoed luistert naar geen reden

Hoe schel die in zijn oren klinkt

Hij tracht d'onozelen te vernielen

Door 't doden van onnozele zielen

En wekt een stad en landgeschrei

In Bethlehem en op de akker

En maakt de geest van Rachel wakker

Die waren gaat door beemd en hei

Really old Dutch, I looked it up and it's from a 17th century play, haha.

Wow ok I see, nice! So they were thoroughly medieval fans at the broad sense of the word and not only in regard to music itself, it seems.

Jan Akkerman's solo records are also awesome. I recommend: "Profile", "Jan Akkerman" and "Tabernakel" Check 'em out
