Album Rating: 5.0
Your review suffers because you criticize the lyrical power far too much. I understand your hate towards it, I think it's just slightly more tolerable than Relapse. Unfortunately, you can't seem to focus on a single constructive point of the album beyond the stupid songwriting.
"attracted a cult following of fake mainstream fans, overrated and just a disappointment considering there is no Slim Shady on this album despite what Em claims."
I don't see what Slim Shady has to do with Eminem's albums being awesome. The Eminem Show was a great album, and it barely featured his alter ego.
Another thing, there's only one song produced by Dr. Dre...
I stopped reading right about here. Dr. Dre is a fabulous producer, but, in all honesty, he only distributed the previous albums. It was Eminem that made his own albums popular. And the bashing that Eminem gives to his own albums is NEVER an argument.
And I don't get what your deal is with Lil Wayne. Yeah, nobody likes him, but god damn, once is ENOUGH. You don't seem to know when enough is enough.
'and there are no skits... C'mon! Skits are what i always enjoyed about Em's albums.'
Not a very good argument. Skits are just extra, quickly-made music, but acted with little or no music. They're just little introductions to the next track. It seems like you just added this at the last moment.
For a first review, it's fairly average. Your point never seems to get across, and you can't seem to decide who's worse: Eminem or the guest stars. And you bash random points about the album and compare them to other tracks way too much. Improve on your next reviews, kid, and welcome to Sputnik.
