This album is not very good but I'll be damned if Let it Burn isn't one of their best songs.

Not entirely sure honestly, based on their new EP.

I'm just hoping it will be a legitimate follow-up to OBaR, since based on the singles we've gotten it looks like they're heading in that direction again.

Yeah, new single is stellar. A bit of a shame Evening Hate and From the Ashes are included though. Love those songs but on a ten-track album, two new songs wouldn't have gone astray.

Sever seems like it has growing power. Went back to From the Ashes, and goodness that chorus is so frustrating. Throws off the song.

This record is way better than I remember. I might just be in the mood for this but man, this record has some awesome melodies, cool riffs in places, adequate production (could be better, but it's not that bad), and interesting harmonies. The addition of female vocals in a few songs is very nice too, they should do that more. Watch You Crawl was one of the songs I hated but I really love the chorus, it's so HUGE
The Outside is hot garbage though, really takes down this record

Don’t give the album too much praise, otherwise some leftist SJW troll will come in and counter that with the band being “trumpsters” ;)

Hymn for the Missing is still a top-tier ballad

Feed the Machine is also just too good. Lots of bangers on this one tbh

First half is superb, but definitely takes a hit in the second half up until "Hymn for the Missing" which also superb. The title track should have been included somewhere in the middle of the album, though, instead of being a bonus track.

Eh I think the song would be quite weird in album context.
