i still dig every album lemmy puts out even if they rarely return to my stereo after a few weeks or so.

Very well written.
Their classic material, as joyful as it is, can sound like a coin rattling around a cadaver’s ribcage when compared to the luxuries afforded to today’s groups
Personally i prefer the former over the latter 24/7.
As if there lies a big deal for the luxuries afforded to today’s groups...
The vast majority of today's groups forget to write good music.

Irving - No need to apologise. Your constructive criticism is necessary and taken on board. I tried to do a bit of a Charlie Brooker and be a smart arse with the Gorillaz review, but it didn't pay off as well as I would have liked. Plus, I did admittedly rush it out a tad on account of it being nearly a fornight old. One of my failings as a (wannabe) writer is that I find it hard to express myself for an album I don't like or an album by a group I'm not familiar with. It's something I'll have to get used to, as I would hate to simply write about what I know. The whole point of the exercise is to expand and annex unfamiliar territory. My next few reviews are going to be by artists I'm not at all familiar with, so I'm trying to better myself constantly.
Voivod - I prefer the former too, without a doubt, but would love to hear their modern sound applied to the classics. I suppose the closest we'll get is Metallica's Garage Days/Garage Inc. material.

Motörhead is one of the few bands that can get away with recycling their songs again and again. Good review.

Lemmy truly can do no wrong, I was thinking about reviewing this because I thought the staff wouldn't care, but you did a great job with it. Motorhead are one of the only bands on earth who've stayed the same throughout their career and haven't been any worse because of it.

Nagrarok - I wouldn't worry about there being gaps in the site from the staff for groups like this. I'll have it well covered!

Well, what I've always found lacking about the staff, as the site in general, is that the focus lies on indie and anything that remotely has to do with classic rock, for instance, isn't really covered well. I'm glad to see that might be changing, welcome and I'll be reading more from you.

Fuck yes Motorhead, will be seeing them live in about a month.
Q: Who would win in a wrestling match between Lemmy and God?
A: Trick question, Lemmy is God.

this
I would add metalcore and harcore/post-hardcore in general, apart from indie.

Okay, first listen finished and all I can say right now is that it's another good ol reliable Motorhead record, which I wouldn't have any other way. Now may the subsequent listens to pick out favourite tracks commence!
