Well you're right, this was probably a bit too much for me, as a not-so-good reviewer...
That's not what I meant. This is an album that people obviously feel very strongly about (something which you yourself admitted earlier today lol), so it is obvious that they will put your review under heavy scrutiny in order to see whether what you said has any merit. As a result, any mistake will instantly be magnified X 10.
Don't be disheartened. There are several positive take-home messages from this:
i.) 22 out of 24 people agree you did a good job (that is an amazing number of votes - the most I have received is 23 lol).
ii.) You have improved a lot as a writer.
iii.) You are now aware of your weaknesses (which is something everyone needs more of).
iv.) You know what kind of stuff your audience wants.
All told, I think your effort paid of spectacularly =)

nope. most of their comments are their opinions about your opinion and how you expressed it in your review.I understood your reasoning perfectly. Some people like to get beat up with sound. You don't, and that's totally okay. Your point is clear enough as it is. This whole thing where your rating isn't validated is bull shit lol. Who actually thinks they can tell anyone what a rating means to another person anyway. My 5.0 albums may mean totally different things to any other user's 5.0 albums, or 2.5 or 1.0 albums, whatever.
You didn't have to go into any more depth for me to get it, and mind a few typos, it was a good read. Also, in my opinion, regarding your opinion, you shouldn't have to write a review based on how the community here will react, you know? Our reaction to your take on one of our favorite albums shouldn't determine whether your review is good or not. If this was a review for any other album it would still be good. Just because it is for Jane Doe doesn't mean you have to write it better. That's just my opinion, though, so I guess I have to disagree with Eric. Just expect the negative comments or more views because it's a popular album and whatever.
