this feels rly incomplete without the two tracks i mentioned at the start/end im 90% sure thats how it was intended to be listened to cause the standard digital version it sort of just starts and ends without any proper flow to it

this is really an album thats meant to be played through speakers

back when i first got it on vinyl on like the second or third time i listened to it, i got in some weird state from city of light through the other face where it was just the most intensely consuming music i'd heard it my life. like i could feel it all around me. there's very very few things that have ever felt that intense, and i don't think ive ever had quite the same experience listening to this but i still think about it a lot

city of light is one of my favs on this. i should really re-listen to this through headphones instead of laptop speakers lol

yeah ngl this is probably one of the worst albums possible u could hear through laptop speakers

honestly like i said through headphones is better, but if possible, listen to this through speakers and LOUD. like loud enough that it feels almost overpowering, its just an entirely different experience. idk what kinda set up u got in ur car, but that can work pretty well

ya my car has a nice system, i will do that for sure! i know what you mean though. sound quality can easily pivot your perception of certain recordings. I disliked Rain Upon the Impure, by Ruins of Beverast, when i first listened to it because i had heard it through laptop speakers and it just sounded way too murky and muddled. When i re-listened through a friends hi-fi system, the record sounded completely different. All of these frequencies and nuances unveiling themselves.

probably better than endless summer in being less repetitious and even more calming

the only problem is transit needed to go at the end of the album instead of dead center
