Devastator rules.

And Talmidim is really good too. It's cool when metal(core) bands do songs like that.

"This has nothing to do with music and everything to do with our faith in Christ." -Mattie
Montgomery

Then why on Earth record an album instead of going to preach somewhere?!

I think the idea was that by creating a music album, they're spreading the message to more people. If they went to a church of some sort to preach, the only people that are going to hear the message are the ones who already know something about it and are interested in hearing more. Christian metal bands put the Gospel out to people who wouldn't normally care to hear it, but upon listening may find something that makes a lasting impact on their lives.

That being said, if this is the approach For Today is taking, I think they could have done the musical aspect of the album to their utmost, because they are using God-given talent to further His Kingdom.

Please try to think from my perspective for a minute before completely writing off what I just said.

Yes. They have talent, but on this album they didn't use it to their full potential.

This isn't a bad review at all Kimm.
I hate to point this out yet again, but there is a lot of focus on the lyrics and not enough on the music. Makes sense given the context of the album, but maybe you should write another review focussing primarily on the instrumental aspect of the music.

Well written though!

We've all told her that. Since the music's message is what matters most to her, that has to be the focal point of the review.

Dammit, TheEnigma, I must be elitist again. Why do I even type.
