Rules

Excellent album, maybe not as instantly memorable as Murmur for me but still great.
|
| |
Damn, still my least jammed R.E.M. album of the classic era but. Not exactly Murmur quality, but rules anyway.

Super bummed that this only has one review, I think it's top-tier REM, along with Murmur and AFTP.
Favorite tracks are Harbourcoat, Time After Time, Second Guessing, Pretty Persuasion and Rockville (although the early live versions of the latter are far more interesting)
Great album, not a dull track on here, gets quite a lot of spins from me.

It's definitely top tier. Should bump me rating actually.

| |
Definitely top tier [3], early R.E.M. is so good.

This isn't clicking with me as much as Murmur and Document have in terms of their earlier stuff. Still, repeated listens should see that right.
|
| |
I think so, this one is excellent as well. So is Fables, the most underrated one of theirs for me.

This needs another listen, I feel like it didn't sink in as much as it should have.

I tend to dig any album I've recently heard that's a 3.5+ but yeah
|
| |
Yeah this is great Ars, Harborcoat and 7 Chinese Bros are early R.E.M. classics, to name a few.

Time After Time (Annelise) is probably one of the best R.E.M. songs I've ever heard.
