Terrifiyingly uninformed and biased review. These "men" were TWENTY-ONE when they made this album. And the lyrics? They're a CONCEPT about the various forms one can die, and at times incredibly profound (Biblical History lesson in Creeping Death, anyone?). Besides the album has the best song(s) in the band's career!

I am also curious who was doing a similar thrash metal sound when this album came out better than Metallica. Yes, Slayer was, but you can tell the distinction between them. I will agree that some better thrash bands came out of the 80s, with better musicianship and all, but the songwriting on this album is really good.
