Crazy as this may sound, some of the stuff on this album sound like Yes were listening to alot of Miles Davis' Fusion period, mainly Tribute to Jack Johnson.

I wouldn't be able to pin-point it that carefully, but here's definitely a prominent jazz influence here.

Very true. Previous Tales From Topographic Oceans contains a few jazz fusion hints too, in a lesser extent.

Finally got a physical copy of this (along with Hemispheres and A Tribute To Jack Johnson) today. One of my favorite Yes albums, absolutely incredible, also has their best album art.

I hadn't pondered the fact that Anderson has a vocal style similar to that of Geddy Lee. Was Lee influenced by Anderson?
