"This might be my most hated album ever because unlike most complete dogshit albums it's from a band I really like" that's a shame treb. maybe it is that i'll pretty much support anything Gerard does now but this album really clicked for me a good few years ago and now I love it. not as much as the first 3 but I love it.

I remember my brother absolutely loving this album when it came out and I never understood it… might try to give it another crack.

good album with some bangers but not even nostalgia can hide that this is a bit of a mess of a record. the conventional weapon stuff they scrapped for this is so much better.

it's def messy in spots but i feel like Number 3 is the only part of Conventional Weapons I'd have slotted in to improve this, the rest def feel like B-Sides in the same way as stuff like Heaven Help Us felt for The Black Parade. Which, for MCR is still great. but i wouldn't trade stuff like Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back or The Only Hope for Me Is You for anything.

Agree with Save Yourself but not a big fan of The Only Hope For Me Is You.

That's one of my favorites. Its really romantic lyrically, the kinda song I'd sing to a partner.

Fair enough. The track isn't for me personally. Summertime, Scarecrow and The Kids From Yesterday scratches the same itch but better imo.
